These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Sleep Oasis (the “App” or “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (linked in-app). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1) Eligibility & Account

  • You must be 13+ (or the minimum age in your country). Users 13–16 in some regions may require verified parental/guardian consent.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.

2) License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App. You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent security or paywalls.
  • Upload malware or interfere with the App’s operation.
  • Infringe third-party rights or applicable laws.
  • Share, resell, or lend your subscription, entitlements, or content.

3) Health & Safety

Sleep Oasis supports sleep, relaxation, and mindfulness. It does not provide medical advice and is not a medical device. Consult a qualified professional for health concerns. Do not use the App while driving or operating machinery.

4) Permissions & Device Features

Some features require your permission (you can change these in device settings):

  • Microphone (optional): for snore/sound detection, tap/breath sounds. By default, raw audio is processed on-device and not stored.
  • Photos/Media (optional): to choose a profile picture—we only access the photo you select.
  • Health integrations (optional): Apple HealthKit/Google Fit if you explicitly connect them; health data is used only for in-app wellness features and never for advertising.
  • Notifications (optional): reminders and updates.

5) In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

5.1 Types & Pricing

The App may offer auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g., Monthly, Yearly) and one-time purchases. Prices are shown in-app in your local currency and may vary by region, taxes, and promotions.

5.2 Billing & Auto-Renewal

  • iOS (Apple ID): Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled ≥24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before period end. Manage/cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases if needed.
  • Android (Google Play): Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled ≥24 hours before period end. Manage/cancel in Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

5.3 Trials & Introductory Offers

If provided, free trials or intro prices are for eligible new subscribers. When a trial/intro ends, it converts to a paid plan automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel ≥24 hours beforehand. Unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription before the trial ends. Some offers (e.g., first-year 50% off) may be one-time and subject to eligibility and local rules.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change prices for future periods. You’ll be notified as required by Apple/Google. If you do not agree, cancel before the next renewal; otherwise the new price applies at the next billing cycle.

5.5 Cancellations & Refunds

  • You can cancel anytime via your app store’s subscription settings; access continues until the current term ends.
  • Purchases are non-refundable and not prorated, except where required by law or by Apple/Google policies.
  • For iOS, Apple typically handles refunds; for Android, request via Google Play or contact us for guidance.

5.6 Taxes & Fees

Applicable VAT/GST/other taxes may be included in the price or added at checkout per local rules. Your bank or carrier may charge additional fees.

6) Content & Intellectual Property

All App content (software, sounds, text, graphics, designs, recordings, and other materials) is owned by D-bug Station Limited or its licensors and protected by law. You receive no rights beyond those expressly granted.

User Content (e.g., profile photos). By submitting content, you warrant you have necessary rights and that it does not infringe any third party. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use your content solely to operate the Service.

Feedback. If you send ideas or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without obligation.

7) Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services such as RevenueCat (subscriptions), Firebase (analytics/crash), Google AdMob (ads), and Apple HealthKit/Google Fit (health data integrations). These providers process data under their terms and privacy notices; see our Privacy Policy for details. Health data and raw audio are never used for advertising.

8) Availability, Updates, & Changes

We may add, change, or remove features; push updates (including mandatory security updates); and suspend or terminate parts of the Service. Feature availability may vary by device, OS version, and region.

9) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, harmful activity, or legal/compliance reasons. You may stop using the App at any time. Provisions that logically survive termination (IP, disclaimers, limitations, dispute terms) survive.

10) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate operation.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, D-bug Station Limited and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD $50 if none). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; these apply to the fullest extent permitted.

12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless D-bug Station Limited and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, user content, or misuse of the Service.

13) App Store Terms Acknowledgement

  • These Terms are between you and D-bug Station Limited, not Apple or Google.
  • Apple/Google are not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
  • To the extent required by Apple policy, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
  • In case of any applicable warranty non-conformity, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligations.

14) Regional Terms

  • EU/UK consumers: You have statutory rights under consumer law. Accessing paid digital services during the withdrawal period may mean you waive the right of withdrawal as permitted by law.
  • California (CPRA) & other regions: See our Privacy Policy for data rights. We do not sell personal information.

15) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless local law requires otherwise.

16) Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God, internet/platform outages, strikes, war, regulations).

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted in-app or on our website with an updated Effective Date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
